Thought for the day...
We are able to laugh when we achieve detachment, if for only a moment.
Have you ever found yourself laughing at a particular circumstance or situation once you were able to look at it objectively, or if someone else gave you the gift of an objective, detached perspective?
I once had two dear Friends, Rhondell and Christine, and the biggest gift (contribution) they gave me was to not react when I was making a situation or circumstance so important I'd lost all perspective. They'd listen and give objective feedback allowing me to detach from my own reactions and emotions AND ... laugh!
Can you experiment with taking a break from something that's been bothering you, that has become so important you it consumes your thoughts? Can you describe "what's going on here?" as it is without judgement or condemnation?
Can you look to see if there is "value" in this objective description of what's going on?
These are tools passed on to me by Rhondell and Christine that hold the power to birth laughter!
As these two dear Friends said over and over... Don't believe a word I say... Check it out! Feel free to go to www.HarmonyWorkshop.com for addtional information.
